Epson R260 / R380 / RX580 Continuous Ink System is compatible with Epson Photo R260 / R380 / RX580.

The Continuous Ink System consists of a high-capacity ink reservoir (same as using between 5-8 ink cartridges per color) that is attached to a cartridge via secure tubing. The tubing acts as a vacuum to extract ink from the reservoir and keep the cartridge full of ink. Because of the large reservoir capacity, you can print for an extended period of time without running low right away. There is a red line on the reservoir to indicate when it is time to refill.

Each Continuous Ink System comes complete with easy-to-follow instructions, ink, and all accessories needed to successfully use the system. The included Continuous Ink System cartridges have a permanent smart chip already installed, which will automatically reset itself when your printer power is turned off (for 5 seconds) and turned back on. No mess! No leaking!

With Continuous Ink System you will receive an abundance of ink to get you started:

• 167 ml Black ink
• 92 ml Cyan ink
• 92 ml Magenta ink
• 127 ml Yellow ink
• 92 ml Light Cyan ink
• 92 ml Light Magenta ink

For your convenience, there is a filter built into the ink tank, to prevent outside agents from contaminating and/or affecting the quality of your prints.

WARNING! This CIS will work on all printers manufactured before May 31, 2007 only!

• To identify manufacturing date, locate a long production label on the back of the printer example: (C65301002W156Y16332) From right to left, the 7th position means the Year (example 6=2006, 7=2007) the 6th position means the month (example 1=January, 2=February etc. X=October, Y=November and Z=December) the 5th and 4th positions mean the day of production. The serial used as example above means that the printer was built on November 16, 2006.

Warning: This continuous ink system is designed for the specified printers. Do not try using this system on any other printers.
